Timepost Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Timepost ("we", "us") is a slow-letter social app for users aged 18 and over, operated by Hsiaustudio. We serve users outside of mainland China.

2. Data we collect

• Account: email address (used to log in and to deliver letters addressed to you).
• Profile: display name, city, gender, age (18+), country, language, and optional interest tags you choose to share for matching.
• Content: letters you write and receive, including any attachments.
• Technical: device push token (FCM), language preference, and basic usage logs.

3. How we use data

To deliver letters, match you with correspondents, translate content on device, send arrival notifications, and keep the service secure. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data on the basis of contract performance (to provide the service), legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention), and your consent (optional profile fields and marketing, where applicable).

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing noreply@qitu.space. You may also delete your account in-app, which removes your content within 30 days.

6. Data retention & transfers

Content in the unclaimed pool is deleted after 30 days if unclaimed. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country; we rely on standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.

7. Children

Timepost is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
